Cancellation and order change requests are subject to an order’s shipping status. If the order has not shipped, customer care will make every effort to process the request. If the order has shipped or been sent to the customization department, customer care can no longer cancel or change the order and the purchaser will be required to follow the return process.

Yes! Personalize your apron, smock, chef wear, or any other purchase with your own logo or text. Aprons & Smocks offer both screen print and embroidery to meet all of your personalization needs.

Embroidery is when the wording or logo is sewn directly into the fabric using decorative needlework.  Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric or other materials with designs stitched with thread. Best when applied to heavier garments such as aprons and smocks.

Our starting price for text/name and logo/artwork embroidery is $9.95  per item (up to 3 lines) or 12,000 stitches.  Extra fees may for logos that contain over 12,000 stitches Aprons & Smocks offers the following embroidery price discounts:

  • Buy 1 – 4 for $9.95 each
  • Buy 5 for $7.86 each
  • Buy 11 for $6.99 each
  • Buy 24 for $6.32 each

Yes, we do! Screen printing is the process of applying an image or design to materials by the use of a stencil. Screen printing is commonly used on aprons, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and a wide range of promotional items. Screen Printing involves numerous steps. Each color is applied through a separate screen. Screen printing provides a highly durable image and is very economical for large runs.

The minimum for screen printing is 12 pieces.

Aprons & Smocks offers the following screen print price structure based on the quantity ordered. These fees do not include the price of the product:

  • Buy 12-23 for $6.65 each
  • Buy 24 for $5.80 each
  • Buy 48 for $5.20 each
  • Buy 96 for $4.45 each
  • Buy 144 for $4.35 each
  • Buy 288 for $4.20 each
  • Buy 500 for $3.90 each

In addition, there is a set-up fee based on the number of colors in your artwork. A set-up fee applies to new and repeat orders.

In the event that your order is incorrect, damaged, or defective, please email becky@apronsandsmocks.com for further instructions.

Due to the demand and internal costs associated with product samples, we are forced to charge for samples. We will offer a full credit for the cost of that sample against an order placed with apronsandsmocks.com within 30 days from receipt of the sample order. If multiple samples are ordered, we will only credit against the actual items that are ordered, not all samples.

UPS SurePost – is an economy, residential, ground service. This service combines the consistency and reliability of the UPS Ground network with final delivery typically provided by the U.S. Postal Service. Estimated transit time of 5 to 7 business days (from the date the order shipped), for the states within the continental US. Estimated delivery of 7 to 14 days after tendered to the U.S. Postal Service for packages destined for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US territories. Estimated delivery of 3 to 6 weeks after tendered to the U.S. Postal Service for packages destined for APO/FPO addresses. We are a distributor of Fame products. Orders are sent directly to Fame to be fulfilled and shipped from their warehouse located in Woodstock, GA.

Currently the turnaround time is 10-15 business days for products to leave the warehouse in Georgia. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking # that will allow you to determine the estimated delivery date.

If an your order is backorder or partial backorder, you will be charged at the time the order is processed. However, if you decide to cancel the order prior to shipment, we will refund you 100% of the order (including shipping and taxes, if applicable). Also, all customized orders whether the product is in-stock or out-of-stock will be charged when the order is processed.

Freight claims for damaged or missing shipments are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping claims are to be filed by the customer with the delivery carrier and any losses incurred are at the customer’s expense. If you receive a shipment in damaged condition, you MUST retain all packaging and contents for examination by the carrier. You MUST immediately advise the carrier by phone and in writing and then email becky@apronsandsmocks.com immediately so we may assist you with your claim.

In the event a package is returned due to incorrect shipping information or the inability for mail service to deliver, customer care will contact you. The customer will be responsible for paying a shipping fee to have the package sent again. If the customer decides not to pay the shipping fee, a 50% restocking fee will be applied with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.

If your tracking # is showing the order was delivered and you do not have it, please email becky@apronsandsmocks.com with your order #.

Vector Files:
For the best printing results, artwork should be provided as a VECTOR file.

  • All fonts MUST be converted to outlines
  • Accepted applications for providing vector file formats:

Adobe Illustrator (.AI, .EPS), Corel Draw (.CDR)

Other File Formats:
Although not recommended, certain high-resolution image file formats (.JPG, .PNG, .PSD, .TIF, .PDF), may be used providing they meet the approval of our graphics department and ERB printing specifications below.

  • Artwork files must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI
  • Artwork files must be 100% of the final output size
  • .JPG files must be saved at the maximum quality level
  • Accepted applications for providing high-resolution image files: Adobe Photoshop (.JPG, .PNG, .PSD, .TIF, .PDF)

Unacceptable Artwork Formats:
The following files ARE NOT acceptable for printing.

  • Images with resolutions less than 300 DPI
  • Images downloaded from the Internet or websites
  • Highly compressed .JPG images (saved at low-quality level)
  • Images taken from screen captures
  • Photocopies, business cards, stationery, drawings, decals, faxes or other hard copy artwork
  • .BMP or .GIF files

If your artwork does not meet our printing requirements and must be re-created, we offer artwork creation services for a fee. This might add extra time to the product delivery date.

Note: Aprons & Smocks use the industry standard Pantone Matching System (PMS), printing inks on our aprons and smocks.  If your logo uses PMS color(s), please provide the PMS number(s) with your order.  Otherwise, Aprons & Smocks will choose the closest matching color in the PMS library.

No, we recommend home washing for the Fame products. Please review our fabric care and washing tips.

Pre-Soaking Instructions

Pre-soaking is a critical step in stain removal. It is okay if the soiled spot has naturally dried, but pre-soaking will not be effective if the garment has gone through the washing and drying process.
Please adhere to the following instructions for pre-soaking:

  1. Fill a bucket or sink with WARM water
  2. Apply DAWN© LIQUID SOAP over all soiled areas
  3. Let the garment soak in warm water for an extended period of time, preferably overnight

Washing Instructions

FIRST-TIME washing instructions for LIKE COLORS:

  1. Do not overload washing machine
  2. Use the longest washing cycle available
  3. Choose WARM/WARM setting only
  4. For first time washing colors, add ONE CUP of white vinegar to the load in addition to high quality detergent. This improves the fabric’s color retention
  5. DO NOT put garment into dryer until it has been inspected to ensure stains and soils have been cleaned. If you need to repeat soaking and washing, do so.

FIRST-TIME and REPEATED washing instructions for WHITES:

  1. Do not overload washing machine
  2. Use the longest washing cycle available
  3. Choose WARM/WARM setting only
  4. Use an appropriate amount of high quality detergent
  5. DO NOT put garment into dryer until it has been inspected to ensure stains and soils have been cleaned. If you need to repeat soaking and washing, do so.

Drying Instructions

NEVER dry garments using HIGH heat, and NEVER dry garments to completion.
We recommend these directions for proper drying:

  1. Do not overload dryer
  2. Use the Permanent Press setting or the lowest temperature possible -never use high heat!
  3. Remove items from dryer BEFORE they are completely dry
  4. Hang up items immediately to avoid wrinkles

Red Wine

  1. Pour white wine over soiled area
  2. Proceed with normal pre-soaking, washing and drying instructions

Tomato Sauce

  1. Pour white vinegar over soiled area
  2. Work it around, rinse with warm water
  3. Proceed with normal pre-soaking, washing and drying instructions

Blood

  1. Pour warm water over soiled area
  2. Proceed with normal pre-soaking, washing and drying instructions

We are an online store based out of Delavan, WI, and a distributor of Fame apparel. The apparel we sell ships directly from the manufacturers’ warehouse in Woodstock, GA.

Products must be returned within 30 days of receipt. Fill out our return authorization form prior to returning any products.

Your return must include the original packaging and tagging (bags, attached tags, labels, decorative boxes, etc) in resalable condition. We will not accept returns if item(s) are not in their original, 100% resalable condition. (Such as items that have been altered, customized, worn, laundered, are missing tags, smell like smoke, have pet hair on them, are soiled or have been generally mistreated.) If your returned items show any signs of the above, you will be notified and no refund will be issued.

*All returned orders (not exchanges) over $100.00 may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We do not refund or credit any shipping charges. Shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the returnee/exchange.

FACE MASKS, CUSTOM PRODUCTS, EMBROIDERED PRODUCTS AND SCREEN PRINT PRODUCTS CANNOT BE RETURNED
